Bac Giang is a midland province in the Northeast region of Vietnam. This is a province in the planning of Hanoi’s capital area. Bac Giang occupies most of the area of the ancient Kinh Bac region and has a rich culture, typical of Kinh Bac, which is one of the cradles of Quan Ho folk songs with 23 ancient Quan Ho villages recognized by UNESCO. The provincial capital is Bac Giang city, far from the center of Hanoi.
